2023 was a fun-filled year for the girls packed with opportunities for self-growth, skill development and bonding with peers and parents. Through events like Fun with Mums, Sports Day, and Giving Back Night, the Young Queens were able to spend some quality time with the mother-figures in their lives while showing them some much deserved appreciation; this introduced them to new experiences and overall self discovery.
The Young Queens also engaged in some friendly competition while staying active, and also learned to give back to their community. Specifically, because our giving back night was during the month of Ramadan, and over 75% of our girls identify as Muslims, getting a chance to make gift baskets and personalized cards for other members of the community that were also fasting, was very impactful.
