This year, in what is becoming a Young Queens Collective tradition at Adventure4Change, we hosted a heartwarming banquet dedicated to celebrating and honoring the incredible moms and mother figures in our lives. This special event brought together our community for an evening filled with joy, gratitude, and unforgettable moments.
The highlight of the evening was a touching tribute video created by the Young Queens (12-18 years old). In this heartfelt montage, our young members expressed their appreciation to and love for their moms in various languages, showcasing the beautiful diversity within our community. The video resonated deeply with everyone present, as it captured the unique bonds and heartfelt messages from the youth to their beloved mothers.
Throughout the evening, attendees enjoyed a lively atmosphere filled with dancing, group games, and shared laughter. The dance floor was alive with energy, as both moms and daughters joined in the festivities, creating cherished memories together. The group games added a playful touch, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among all participants.
Of course, no celebration is complete without a delicious meal. Attendees shared a meal, featuring a variety of dishes that catered to different tastes and preferences.
This year’s event was particularly special as it marked the first time we celebrated with our Young Princesses (9-11 years). Their presence added an extra layer of joy and excitement to the evening, as they participated in the festivities and contributed to the vibrant atmosphere.
The Young Queens Collective banquet has become a cherished tradition, and we look forward to continuing this beautiful celebration in the years to come. We continue to appreciate the partners and donors who made Young Queens a success in the last school year.
